Recently, the project "Development of Surgical Instruments and Supporting Systems for Endoscopic Cryoablation in the Treatment of Urological Luminal Tumors," a collaboration between our company and Professor Jiang Haowen of Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, was awarded the First Prize in the Entrepreneurship Category at the Shanghai "Chunsheng Cup" Medical Innovation Talent Competition.

The "Chunsheng Cup" Medical Innovation Talent Competition is a high-level innovation contest guided by the Shanghai Leading Group Office for Talent Work and jointly organized by the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission (Shanghai Municipal Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine), the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, the Shanghai Commission of Economy and Informatization, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, and the Shanghai Medical Products Administration. It is hosted by the Shanghai Foundation for Medical and Health Development and the Shanghai Medical and Health Technology Transfer Service Platform, aiming to promote high-value patents and high-efficiency applications while stimulating industrial "feedback" to innovation.

The instruments utilized in the project "Development of Surgical Instruments and Supporting Systems for Endoscopic Cryoablation in the Treatment of Urological Luminal Tumors" were developed by SensCure Biotech (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. Notably, the Bladder Tumor Cryoablation System (comprising the Disposable Cryoablation Balloon Catheter and the Cryoablation Equipment) has passed the National Innovative Medical Device Review and obtained NMPA registration certificates (Registration Nos.: Guo Xie Zhu Zhun 20223010763; Guo Xie Zhu Zhun 20223010768). Employing liquid nitrogen (−196°C) as the cryogen, the system enables minimally invasive transurethral interventional therapy. It performs cryoablation on postoperative wound surfaces following TURBt, eradicating deep-layer tumor cells within the bladder wall, reducing the in-situ residual rate after TURBt, and effectively lowering tumor recurrence rates.
